Mercury Marine will continue to produce the Optimax 200/250 engine for the SportJet. The continuation of these great motors will extend well past the previously announced discontinue date. The ongoing production of these models will depend more on popularity than any other factor.

SJX is not a product of Aztec Fabrications, Inc. The only Phantom models we build are the "Sport Jon", "Sniper" and our completely new "Elite". Two former dealers of ours have chosen to throw-in with our ex-employee and sell his boat, as a supposed Phantom upgrade. This boat is anything but an upgrade. This boat is only a Phantom clone, built with stolen ideas and represented with stolen trademarks. He calls it a "SportJon Xtreme", but the only thing Xtreme is the level he and his crew will lower themselves to for personal gain. Knockoff or knockout ....your choice.

Made in China

Recently in a legal deposition, Steve Stajkowski was asked if his SJX boat was built in China, his reply was , YES!. He also said he was having the hulls built there because the quality was so much better. It is no longer a secret, actually Steve is proud his SJX boat is built in China. He also must be ecstatic that most American workers are unemployed in the jet boat industry while his self declared quality China built hulls will continue to arrive in America to be rigged and stamped made in the U.S.A..
